Alesso has shared a video for his Roy English-assisted single, “Cool.” Originally released a single for the producer-DJ’s forthcoming debut album for Def Jam and Virgin EMI, the song receives a visual rendition courtesy of director Emil Nava, whose past videos for Ed Sheeran and Jessie J have earned him award nominations. Alesso’s ascent has been carefully crafted, and this video is no exception. The meticulously-shot production was filmed at Venice Beach High School, the same spot where films such as Grease and American History X and the video for Britney Spears’ “Hit Me Baby One More Time” were filmed. You can watch the video for “Cool” above, and expect Alesso’s forthcoming LP to hit retailers before year’s end.
