In celebration of the upcoming NBA All Star Weekend festivities set to take place in the Big Apple, Nike has unveiled a series of New York-inspired renditions of the Kobe X, KD 7, Kyrie 1 and LeBron 12 silhouettes. We take a closer look at the “All Star” colorway for the recently released Kobe X, which draws inspiration from the groundbreaking ideas and experimental thoughts presented at the 1964 New York World Fair. The upper featuring a black base with iridescent details along the Swoosh, heel and tongue, sitting atop of a gradient-colored translucent sole to round out the futuristic design. Check out the pics of the Nike Kobe X “All-Star” above and purchase a pair starting February 13.
