Animator Antonio Vicentini and designer David Galasse teamed up to create this fun-loving animation on the history of skateboarding. Clocking out to just under five minutes long, the duo pulled off an informative short made up of whimsical collages and vibrant colors. The clip guides us through the sport’s 50 years history — from its roots in California to its introduction to the X Games and mainstream culture — without actually showing anyone skateboarding.
