This season, the designer’s latest offering remains true to the sporty, yet polished aesthetic he has honed over the years, and includes plenty of modern tailoring fused with athletic references from the world of judo. Highlights, appropriately, include the kimono-style Judo Shirt Jacket and matching Judo Shorts, the lightweight Tromp L’Oeil Parka, and tapered shorts and wool pants, many of them featuring signature Phillip Lim details like oversized silhouettes, luxurious fabrics and combo panel construction. Rounding out the highlights are calf leather sneakers and sandals, along with a slimmer, updated version of the designer’s popular 31 Hour Backpack, resulting in a well-rounded collection for the modern man.
