Wale & Akomplice Are Dropping an Unusual Collab

Wale linked up with VILLA on a pair of classic 6-inch Timbs back in November and now the D.C. rapper has his own pair of… overalls? That’s right: after donning a pair of ski overalls for Audio Push’s “Quick Fast” music video, Wale has joined Akomplice to craft a pair of his own. Going outside the box and offering up something that’s more than a co-branded tee, the distinct collab boasts a blue, black, and silver color scheme inspired by Wale’s own Every Blue Moon outfit and feature details like a DWR treatment, waterproof YKK AQUASEAL zippers and reflective 3M applications throughout. As a nod to Wale’s own Nigerian ancestry, a traditional Yoruba pattern comes emblazoned on the straps of the overalls and decorates a corresponding ski mask.
