Harry Potter fans, rejoice — the first official trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is finally here. Directed by David Yates (who is also at the helm of the upcoming The Legend of Tarzan), the Harry Potter spin-off is the first installment of a planned trilogy and stars Eddie Redmayne as eccentric and introverted wizard Newt Scamander — the future author of the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Hogwarts textbook. Focusing on the arrival of Scamander at the Magical Congress of the United States of America, the film will take place in New York City in 1926 as it explores the threat of extremist group The Second Salemers, the escape of a dangerous creature from Scamander’s magially-expanded briefcase and the resulting tension between magical and non-magical people.

Also starring the likes of Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Samantha Morton, Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell, Faith Wood-Blagrove, Jenn Murray, Jon Voight and Ron Perlman, Fantastic Beasts will hit theaters November 18, 2016.
