Chocolate Skateboards and (RED) have tapped LA-based artist Sage Vaughn for a limited edition deck to help end HIV/AIDS in Africa. Designed for skate wunderkind Elijah Berle, the distinctive skateboard is part of an initiative that will provide more than 23 days of life-saving medication for every purchase of a Chocolate(RED) deck. Vaughn recently invited skateboarding blog Crailtap to his studio to discuss growing up skating in the Valley, how he stays inspired, and why it’s important for him to give back. You can watch the full video above and can purchase the Chocolate(RED) board for $55 USD at red.org, where you can also learn more about World AIDS Day.

You can also check out the RISE “New York is for Lovers” HIV/AIDS awareness campaign here.
