ASICS has taken the trend one step further (no pun intended) by rendering the classic GEL-Lyte III runner in white and black marble patterns that cover the entire leather upper and midsole. While the pattern itself is unconvincing at best, resembling paint splatter more than any variation of Carrara marble, the sneaker’s tried and tested comfort-oriented construction should more than make up for it.
