2 Chainz and his Tru Foundation recently visited the home of a disabled veteran named Dierdre Plater in Palmetto, Georgia on Saturday. He surprised the single parent, who recently had surgery and has been looking for a job for many months, with new furniture and offered to pay her rent for a year. Dierdre Plater was surprised and thankful, sharing with CBS 46: “It’s hard to keep gas in the car, food in the house, and do everything by myself being a single parent. I am on a fixed income. I love to see stuff like this happen for other people, but I never thought it would happen to me.” Watch the beautiful moment above.
