Timeless Stanley Kubrick Movie Posters Reimagined for the Contemporary Market

Everything from A Clockwork Orange to The Shining.

Considered “among the most important contributions to world cinema in the twentieth century” by film historian Michel Ciment, Stanley Kubrick’s works garnered mass acclaim following each release and continue to remain relevant today. In light of this, illustrator and comic artist Tomer Hanuka has reimagined a series of Stanley Kubrick movie posters in his own unique style while retaining each movie’s poignant figures. Far away from the desaturated quality akin to most of his movies, Hanuka has referenced the somewhat extravagant ideas behind Kubrick’s works through a selection of strong colors and distorted illustrations. Enjoy the series above and stay tuned to Tomer Hanuka’s official website where more Stanley Kubrick-inspired posters are scheduled to arrive shortly.
