PUMA "Pop Art" evoPOWER 1.2 Boot
Designed for Mario Balotelli.
PUMA has debuted its latest rework of the evoPOWER 1.2 football boot, inspired by the aesthetics of the Pop Art movement. Featuring both a BAM!! and POW! graphic, the colorway is a technicolor design reminiscent of the two-dimensionality and thick black borders of vintage comic strips. Employing vibrant hues of orange, blue, white and yellow, dots are printed atop the heel and upper to accentuate the Pop Art aesthetic developed during the 1950’s. Additional orange dots are applied to the white laces, which add further detailing to the shoe. Constructed to provide maximum flexibility and accuracy, the boot is made with lightweight and flexible upper materials that yield a longitudinal pull for freedom of movement. To be worn by players Cesc Fàbregas, Mario Balotelli, Olivier Giroud, Yaya Touré, along others, this “Pop Art” model is a unique addition to PUMA’s line of evoPOWER 1.2 football boots. The offering will drop on November 16 at PUMA online and at select global football boot retailers.
