'Preacher' Official Trailer Starring Dominic Cooper
Based on the cult comic series.
During last night’s episode of The Walking Dead, AMC debuted the official trailer for its forthcoming series, Preacher. Based on the cult comic series of the same name, the story follows small town Texas preacher Jesse Custer (played by Dominic Cooper), a man struggling to restore his own faith as he finds himself merged with Genesis – a supernatural entity born from both an angel and a demon. Invested with the word of God, and thus the ability to make anyone obey his commands, the protagonist embarks on a journey to locate God himself in order to demand answers as to why He abandoned His duties in heaven. Along the way, Custer reunites with ex-girlfriend Tulip and an unruly Irish vampire named Cassidy. Set to debut on AMC mid-2016, the new supernatural thriller promises to be a dark, action-packed thrill ride. Check out the trailer above.
