Owner Grant Karnes believes this and thus displays his love for the brand with his 1979 930 Turbo, in luscious silver with custom historical magnetic livery. The car is tuned with new headers, exhaust, upgraded K27 turbo and wastegate, while maintaining a stock intercooler — a rare un-tune commonly left for “purists” — and with very little done to the exterior design and aerodynamics. The result is an immaculate example of a once-iconic-now-legendary version of the Porsche 911 that enthusiasts are all clamoring to get their hands on before they become completely extinct.
