Leica Changes the Game With New Waterproof & Shockproof Camera
Made in Germany with a powerful 35mm lens.

Leica‘s new X-U Typ 113 is a thing of beauty in more ways than one. Waterproof up to 15m (approximately 49 ft.) and shockproof up to 1.2m (about a 4 ft. drop), the camera body is protected by anti-skidding rubber armoring that also enables better grip. The crown jewel is the 35mm equivalent f/1.7 ASPH lens with manual focusing ring and built-in flash, surprisingly located at the lip of the lens. Our first glimpse of the German-made beauty is a leaked photo courtesy of Leica Rumors. We should be seeing a public release of the Leica X-U Typ 113 sometime end of 2015, so stay tuned as we await more updates.
