'Final Fantasy VII' Character Cloud Is Coming to 'Super Smash Bros.'

During its online presentation earlier today, Nintendo revealed that Final Fantasy VII protagonist Cloud will be joining the roster of playable characters in Super Smash Bros. Fans of the game will also be pleased to know that a stage based on the city of Midgar is set to arrive as well. This comes as a bit of a surprise since Final Fantasy VII was never available on any Nintendo playing systems, though Cloud made appearances on Nintendo 3DS games Theatrhythm Final Fantasy and Curtain Call, in addition to Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories on the Game Boy Advance.
