Facebook Introduces Music Stories
Apple Music and Spotify are coming to your News Feed on iOS.
Facebook is introducing a better way to discover and share music with the addition of Music Stories to its iOS app. iPhone users can now post 30-second previews of songs to their News Feed thanks to the integration of both Apple Music and Spotify. Those clips will then link back to the respective service where listeners will have the ability to purchase the tracks or stream them in full. By streamlining the way in which the social media platform interacts with the two services, Facebook hopes “artists will share more, friends will share and engage more, and music will become a better part of the Facebook experience overall.”
Music Stories will begin rolling out to Facebook users on iOS today.
