424 on Fairfax 2015 Fall/Winter "Post Apocalyptic Gardening" Lookbook
Find out the message behind the designs.

We’ve already taken a look at some of the pieces from 424 on Fairfax’s latest 2015 fall/winter range, but we now get a glimpse at the “Post Apocalyptic Gardening” collection lookbook. As apparent with the police-heavy graphics and phrases on the individual pieces, it is clear that founding designer Guillermo Andrade is furthering the recent discussions of police brutality prominent in the media. In fact, Andrade pointed out that his use of the “We’re here to help” statement sums up the hypocrisy prevalent in numerous police forces across the country. For this reason, the handful of yellow poppy flower prints in the offering represents the peace that Andrade hopes to see one day as an offset to the “frustration, pain, and sorrow” caused by police violence.
