UNDERCOVER for Dover Street Market "Burger Shop" Capsule Collection
Another collection blurring the line between satirical content and reputable streetwear.
Under the eclectic, somewhat sporadic direction of designer Jun Takahashi, UNDERCOVER presents its latest burger-centric capsule collection produced exclusively for Dover Street Market. Referencing the heavy graphical pieces presented in UNDERCOVER’s most recent 2015 fall/winter offering, the slightly satirical capsule is presented across a range of crewneck sweaters, T-shirts and one hooded sweater. Amongst a collage of burgers, UNDERCOVER has done well to retain recognizable cues such as the brand’s block-like “U” letter branding and an illustrated take on its famed Hamburger Lamp.
