A Closer Look at the Upcoming Auction for Sam Simon's 'The Simpsons' Memorabilia

We caught a glimpse earlier in August at some of the items in Sotheby’s upcoming auction from the collection of legendary co-creator of The Simpsons, Sam Simon, but we now get an in-depth look at some of the pieces that will be up for grabs. The international auction house has unveiled the list of 278 items that will be available and it certainly does not disappoint. From signed script covers to Maggie’s “Official” Pacifier to original animation cels, this incredible collection of memorabilia is truly unlike anything we’ve seen before. The auction doesn’t just include Simpsons collectibles though – numerous boxing articles are included because of Simon’s history as manager of famed boxer Lamon Brewster, as well as other pop culture pieces from his esteemed career as a Hollywood director and producer.
