Nike pays homage to Penny’s alma mater.
Nike Basketball and Penny Hardaway go hand-in-hand when it comes to footwear and the latest installment to Hardaway’s signature line pays homage to his old stomping grounds. Dubbed the “Memphis Tigers” colorway, this edition of the Nike Air Penny 6 is covered with a Game Royal suede upper, complemented by white Foamposite wings on each shoe’s lateral side. There’s no official release date when Penny fans can expect this pair but the retail price has been set at $185 USD.
