With his newly-released studio album VEGA INTL Night School fresh in fans’ minds and earning acclaim, Neon Indian has unveiled an ambitious new visual piece in support of his new project. Entitled Slumlord Rising, the short film features music from his new album and arrives as a collaboration with Yours Truly and WeTransfer. Slumlord Rising is directed by Tim Nackashi & Neon Indian architect Alan Palomo, while cinematography is handled by Richard Card. The release of the film comes coupled with an extensive breakdown and “oral history” of Neon Indian’s album, which you can check out courtesy of Yours Truly. You can check out Slumlord Rising in its entirety above.
