Microsoft Unveils the Lumia 950 & 950 XL
Microsoft unveils its new flagship Windows phones.
Joining the likes of the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book at Microsoft’s hardware event today is the tech giant’s latest flagship Windows phones: the Lumia 950 and 950 XL. Featuring a 5.2- and 5.7-inch WQHD OLED displays, the phones boast 1.8 GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 and 2.0 GHz octa-core processors, respectively, and come with 20-megapixel PureView cameras with triple LED flash and Zeiss optics, as well as 5MP front-facing cameras. Thanks to the inclusion of USB-C connectivity, both can be charged to about 50% capacity in as little as 30 minutes. The design even boasts liquid cooling and a slightly modified version of Microsoft’s own Windows 10 Mobile UI.
