Since Michael Jackson’s unexpected death in 2009, the King of Pop has taken in over $1 billion USD (before taxes) in postmortem earnings. So, naturally, Jackson tops Forbes‘s “Halloween-spooky” list of top-earning dead celebrities for 2015. Over the past year alone, Jackson has earned $115 million USD thanks to the likes of “the Vegas Cirque du Soleil show Michael Jackson One, the Mijac Music catalog, recorded music sales and half of the Sony/ATV publishing empire.” Elvis comes in second with $55 million USD in earnings while Peanuts creator Charles Schulz, Bob Marley and Elizabeth Taylor round out the top five.

The entire top 13 list can be seen below while more info on the earnings can be found over at Forbes‘s website.
