For Fall/Winter 2015, Danner brings it home to its outdoor roots with a stunning wilderness-themed lookbook shot in the Mount Hood area of Oregon. The renowned bootmaker’s new “Stumptown” collection offers a range of outdoor footwear that introduces new silhouettes and updated classics designed to support the lifestyles of the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
First is the Jag boot, which adds a modern twist to the original 1980s Jag. This retro, waterproof sneaker-inspired boot is constructed with a suede and canvas upper, and is supported by a waterproof Danner® Dry lining, an EVA midsole and an Ortholite® footbed. The Mountain Pass is the ultimate boot for the everyday urban hiker, and closely resembles the brand’s signature Mountain Light hiking boot but at 25% of its weight. It features a durable, full-grain leather upper and waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® lining. The Mountain Light and Danner Light are also updated for fall/winter; with both outfitted in leather uppers and GORE-TEX® lining, these boots are offered in Waterbuck Yellow and Black Glace colorways.
This season, Danner also launches a brand new women’s boot called the Light Cascade. The Mountain Pass is now offered in women’s sizes as well. All boots are made at the Danner factory in Portland, Oregon. Shop the Danner 2015 fall/winter “Stumptown” collection now online.
