The legend of the deductive detective returns to its birthplace.
After three seasons in modern-day London, fans of hit TV series Sherlock will be happy to know that a special one-off episode will air in the near future putting Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman’s Watson back where they belong — Victorian-era London. Replete with deerstalker hat and billowing overcoats, the dastardly duo look to bring their wit and cunning to the fog-bound streets of the 19th century English capital, as can be seen in the trailer above. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for more news on the exact date the period episode will be aired on BBC One.
