Akomplice VSOP 2015 Fall/Winter Lookbook
This season Akomplice brings it back home to Paonia, Colorado.
The quaint town of Paonia, Colorado (the hometown of Akomplice founders and brothers Mike and Patrick Liberty) serves as a fitting backdrop to present the new Fall/Winter 2015 collection, where quiet streets, majestic mountains, and lush hemp farms and fields demonstrate the brand’s connection to nature, environmental sustainability and community. This season, the Akomplice collection is combined with its in-house line VSOP (Virtues Supported Over Palace) for a range of minimalist apparel that pays tribute to agrarian activism. NYC-based creative Jessica Lehrman shot local residents as models for the lookbook, who don fishtail jackets, hoodies, a hockey jersey, crewneck sweaters, button-downs and T-shirts from the seasonal offering.
This sense of social responsibility and small town ideals have been ingrained in the Liberty brothers’ approach to creating garments and Akomplice’s brand philosophy since day one. This commitment will be furthered by Spring 2016, when VSOP will be making its clothing with fair trade materials like organic cotton and recycled fabrics with eco-friendly dyes.
Look out for Part 1 of the 2015 fall/winter collection to drop online October 29.
