Meet London duo Honne. Acclaimed for “re-inventing babymaking music with their futuristic soul,” the duo’s band name stands for the Japanese word for “True Feelings.” Above you can check out their new Nowness-premiered music video for their new single “Warm On A Cold Night,” which was helmed by Geej Ower. According to the director, the clip chronicles a relationship’s final moments:
“We’ve all experienced those shattering, gutting times ending a relationship with someone you love,” she says. “I wanted to capture the range of emotions you go through over those hours; the sadness, guilt, intimacy, the anger. That push and pull between each other and the battle between the love that’s still there and the inevitability that you both know it’s over.”
It certainly is worthwhile as well to explore the band’s previous video “Warm On A Cold Night,” which was directed by Fionn Cox-Davies, and be on the lookout for their upcoming releases.
