Preparing to take Apple head-on in the up-and-coming wearable smartwatch market, Sony announces the latest stainless steel SmartWatch 3 at this year’s CES 2015 in Las Vegas. Featuring a water-protected 1.6” 320×320 TFT LCD Transflective display, the SmartWatch 3 is undoubtedly a response to the anticipated arrival of the Apple Watch as the former showcases a silver stainless steel watchstrap to complement the sleek and futuristic construction. In addition, Sony’s latest generation wearable device charges via a standard microUSB port and represents on-the-go functionality with native music playback, intelligent sensor technology, and a built-in GPS sensor.
