Born in 2009 out of an affinity for ’90s musical subcultures, Japanese brand MAGIC STICK continue to produce compelling apparel pivoted by motifs of that decade. In its 2015 spring/summer lookbook, the brand sticks to what it does best, incorporating subtle prints and textures into one clean and fluid rendition. A strong hip-hop sensibility is prevalent throughout – black dungarees are juxtaposed with a bright red cape — while splattered paint take on matching jerseys and shorts.
