Last week we reported Lil Wayne to be suing Cash Money CEO and longtime mentor-collaborator-friend Birdman for $8 million. Apparently the number has been highly underestimated; according to TMZ it is now reported that Weezy is filing a lawsuit of $51 million for the withholding of his upcoming album Tha Carter V. Because of Cash Money’s refusal to pay, Tunechi claims his entitlement to leave the label and threatens that he will take members Drake and Nicki Minaj away with him. On top of suing Baby, Weezy wants to declare his joint copyright ownership of all Young Money recordings. Things seem to be getting really crazy now; we hope that things can be resolved soon.
