George Lucas Reconsidering Los Angeles for Self-Titled Museum
With environmental concerns halting its production in Chicago, George Lucas’ proposed Lucas Museum

With environmental concerns halting its production in Chicago, George Lucas‘ proposed Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is now considering a University of Southern California campus site in Los Angeles. A lawsuit filed by the Friends of the Parks claimed that the proposed building site would disrupt the natural ecosystem. Despite the halt, Lucas expects the city of Chicago to eventually approve his plans, claiming undoubted support by the city mayor Rahm Emanuel. Currently, Lucas is pushing to have his self-titled Chicago museum built on Lake Michigan by 2018.
