One of the unfortunate caveats of growing in popularity is watering down an original purpose. Christopher Shannon ignored all of this when presenting his Fall/Winter 2015 collection in London at LC:M, opting instead for a pointed, if not ostentatious range of true statement pieces. Shannon expresses concern for the UK, addressing economic affairs with a sweater and carrier bag embossed with the words “Save Me,” elsewhere poking at consumer culture with a Coca-Cola-esque and bag motifs throughout. Having seized the opportunity to speak on fashion’s platform, enjoy this interesting collection from Christopher Shannon.
