As part of London Fashion Week, British fashion designer Christopher Raeburn presents his latest clothing collection for Fall 2015. Known for his reappropriation of various military fabrics and the “re-made” ethos which guides the creative process and development of each collection, the collection offers another insightful display into sustainable fashion.

Following a relatively dark color palette, the collection has been highlighted by bold outerwear pieces in orange, red and blue — with the reclaimed fabrics still gazetting the manufacturer and instructional markings from their past life. Most notably are the lifeboat outerwear pieces. With reappropriated fabric, the patchwork ensemble of sheen and matte materials accentuate the clean-cut shapes of the collection’s base layers. Amongst such workings, Raeburn has indulged in a wide variety of patterns for this season with the likes of a minimalistic shark motif gracing scarves and sweaters.
