Honoring the heritage of the car and its intrinsic features, Ford designers aimed to combined the history of the original Ford GT40s of the ’60s with innovative technical specs of a modern day supercar to produce a futuristic rendition of the classic sports car. Boasting over 600 horsepower with modified exterior designs taken from the original models, the new Ford GT features a lightweight carbon fiber construction and an EcoBoost supercharged engine, resulting in an efficient race car tailor made for speed.
