Staple x Shake Shack: The Making of the "Staple Concrete"

Merging fashion with food, Staple alongside with Shake Shack has launched a special capsule which includes a T-shirt, sunglasses, and a special frozen custard “Staple Concrete.” Looking to translate the iconic Staple pigeon into frozen custard – a representation of New York City from a local’s perspective – the sweet confection was developed by Shake Shack’s culinary director Mark Rosati along with jeffstaple and features rich creamy vanilla frozen custard blended with seasonal raspberry jam and chunks of Doughnut Plant black sesame glazed doughnut. As jeff puts it, “I could not be more proud of this collaboration, I’ve been a fan of Shake Shack since back when there was only one location in Madison Square Park. I’m also a die-hard Doughnut Plant fan because I’m a 15-year resident of the Lower East Side, where they’re located.”

Available until September 21, the “Staple Concrete” can only be found at Madison Square Park, Battery Park City, Downtown Brooklyn, DUMBO Brooklyn, Flatbush Avenue Brooklyn, Theater District, Upper East Side and Upper West Shake Shack NYC locations.
