With a well-documented history of strong collaborations, BAPE has chosen to go back to its roots in this capsule collection with the Planet of the Apes franchise. The collection encompasses a range of sweaters and tees with bold, iconic graphics that mixes vivid imagery with BAPE’s playful motifs. We see the tees incorporate classic ape portraits from the historic films as well as from more recent works such as Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, released this year. Notwithstanding the trademark BAPE touches, all the tops include typical ape head patches on the sleeves.
