The good folks over at Pigeons and Planes have premiered the video for LA rap act Clipping.‘s track “Inside Out.” Originally featured on CLPPNG, the trio’s debut project on Sub Pop Records, the song receives its video courtesy of past visual collaborator Carlos Lopez Estrada. Estrada and Clipping. match the dissonant sonic warfare of the track with a bizarre, slighty-trippy visual that features a headless figure wandering through late-night Los Angeles as his head morphs from inanimate objects to lightning bolts to doves and rabbits, with the transformations based on what the lyrics dictate. For those uninitated, if Aphex Twin, Shabazz Palaces and Outkast united in a post-apocalyptic world to create riots through hip-hop, clipping. would be the result.
