Featuring an aesthetic on par with that of the Japanese brand’s latest M-51-inspired Mods Coat, the lightweight MA-1 features a tonal exterior and takes cues from varsity jackets as it incorporates contrasting stripes along its hem and cuff ribbing. Inside, the brand’s multicolored block motif lines the jacket. Finally, classic design language like nylon construction, a sleeve-placed utility pocket, zippered placket, and button flap-covered pockets remain intact. The Fall/Winter 2014 Lightweight MA-1 is set to hit uniform experiment dealers in both navy and black this Saturday, September 6 for ¥63,000 JPY (approximately $600 USD).
