A Closer Look at Mercedes-AMG Engines

Web imprint Cool Hunting was recently invited to Affalterbach, Germany by the Mercedes-AMG team for a look at how its high-performance engines are assembled. Now wholly-owned by Mercedes’ parent company Daimler AG, AMG was founded by three former Mercedes engineers in 1967 as a way for the German automaker to gain experience in the racing world, and then deliver it to its everyday customers. In this video piece, we get a glimpse at the full process behind crafting an AMG engine and its humble ”one man, one engine” motto.
