Twin Shadow Premieres New Song, "Locked And Loaded"

While serving as a guest on the Comedy Bang! Bang! podcast, George Lewis Jr debuted a live rendition of an all-new Twin Shadow track entitled “Locked And Loaded.” No word yet on whether this will end up on the upcoming Twin Shadow album (which Lewis says will come in October), but from the sound of things the new cut is album-quality. Whereas Twin Shadow’s most recent full-length effort, 2012’s Confess, featured stadium-sized melodies and an affinity for slick, 80’s-indebted pop, “Locked And Loaded” is a more drawn back, reserved affair that places Lewis’ emotive, pained vocals as the focal point.
