News has broken that two indisputable masters of pop music could be building out a collaborative project. An interview last year revealed Paul McCartney‘s desire to work with a hip-hop star, with the Beatles frontman naming Kanye West alongside JAY Z for potential partners. According to Page Six, this desire could soon be fulfilled, as sources indicate the two have been working in-studio, with one product being tentatively named “Piss on My Grave.” The juxtaposition of McCartney’s ever-sweet lullaby writing with West’s aggressive production seems almost laughable – the stuff of cross-genre lore – but of course harbors potential to be an instant classic whether it takes one-off or full album form.
