Renault Sport R.S. 01 Teaser

French heritage automaker Renault is set to lift the garage doors on its latest and greatest sports car: the R.S. 01. Meant to sit prettily beside the likes of Ford’s ST series and Volkswagon’s R line, the 500-horsepower racer signifies a move toward the racetrack – rather than the streets – for the brand. The chassis is said to be composed of racing-spec Dallara carbon-monocoque, armed with a seven-speed sequential transmission and boasting Michelin slicks standard.
