Developed in collaboration with Italian chassis manufacturer Dalara, the racer’s body is made from composite materials and boasts a curb weight of less than 2,500 pounds. Powering the car is the twin-turbo V6 engine from the Nissan GT-R, which has been tweaked by Nismo to produce more than 500 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. No word on 0-60 mph times but the car’s top speed will be in excess of 185 mph. If you’re a fan of racing, expect to see the R.S. 01 in next year’s World Series by Renault.
