Puff Daddy Remixed Smashing Pumpkins' "Ava Adore"

Back in the 90’s, Puff Daddy conjured up a remix of Smashing Pumpkins‘ hit “Ava Adore,” and after hanging out in musical purgatory for over 15 years, the rework has finally seen the e-light of day. Just the sound of a Bad Boy-era Puff Daddy reworking a melancholic number like “Ava Adore” is strange to think about, but after giving it a few listens, the reality of it should sink in. The remix will be included on Smashing Pumpkins’ upcoming seven-disc box set retrospective, where it will be placed alongside nearly a hundred different oddities and outliers from the band’s legendary career.
