It’s been a minute since Danny Seth released something new for his supporters, however that all changes today. Fresh from his forthcoming mixtape, entitled Perception, the English rapper unveils “I Arise Because.” The first track to drop from the upcoming project, produced by Ducko Mcfli & JGrammBeats.
Accompanying the premiere, Danny Seth spoke to HYPETRAK about the Perception project.
“I chose [the name] Perception because this whole tape is based on how people will perceive me; will I be the first British rapper to break America? Will I fail? Will people see me as great, or as garbage? Everyone has their own perception, and with the internet, nowadays everyone has a voice. I want people to really take their time and try to understand where I’m coming from, and put my city on the map. The whole mixtape is based on times during one day in my life; this happens to be the ‘wake-up’ track. The producers are Ducko Mcfli (who produced “Draft Day” for Drake) and JGrammBeats (who did “Upper Echelon” for Travis Scott). I’m hoping that the project will be ready for November if all goes well.”
Along with the release of this mixtape, Danny plans to release a short film to compliment the project. This will be his first visual release in two years, and will consist of a combination of three tracks from Perception.
