MUSIC ESSENTIALS: Dream Koala

Claim to fame? Laptop artist, songwriter, singer, musician & vegan. 20-year-old Yndi Ferreira, better known as Dream Koala, is giving the music circuit a serious for its money with his excellent Earth. Home. Destroyed. EP. The project carries a myriad of emotions and moods carried through with heavy bass lines, an impeccable bass synth programming, and hints at the tremendous potential of the Berlin-based Parisian artist. Ferreira was kind enough to share a look at his day-to-day music essentials when he is on tour. Besides “live” elements such as his guitar, picks, and drum sticks, he also relies on his Ableton Push, a distortion pedal and drum pads to (re-)arrange sound effects on stage.
