After teaming up with neo-soul outfit The Internet earlier this summer, HYPETRAK has tapped London-based duo Snakehips for its latest mix. Dubbed “Coming To America,” the mix coincides with their upcoming U.S. tour with Stwo and features an eclectic collection of tracks to prep fans for their trip across the pond. What inspired this mix?
These are tunes that we’re digging at the moment, old and new. We like to switch up the tempos a bit and show all the different kind of stuff that we listen to. There’s also a few unreleased bits in there from us and some new tunes from Karma Kid and Pomo.
What is featured on your personal playlist these days?
Lots of stuff. We are loving all of the stuff GoldLink’s putting out. The new Vic Mensa track is crazy. I just downloaded a load of Keats Collective mixtapes which are really cool. James really likes Celine Dion.
What can we expect from Hoffman West in the near future?
We’re working on a load of new tunes at the moment. We’ll be putting out more tracks before the end of the year and we have a couple of new remixes dropping very soon
