After teasing her upcoming solo debut project, Crush Songs, Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O unveils the video for her new single “Rapt.” Helmed by her husband Barney Clay and production designed by K.K. Barrett, the clip depicts the singer floating underwater in a red dress. About her debut full-length, Karen described the piece as a “collection of lo-fi, bedroom recordings:”

“When I was 27 I crushed a lot. I wasn’t sure I’d ever fall in love again. These songs were written and recorded in private around this time. They are the soundtrack to what was an ever continuing love crusade. I hope they keep you company on yours.”

Crush Songs is set to arrive on September 9 in the U.S. and September 8 in the UK via the Strokes’ Julian Casablancas’ label, Cult.
