Jaguar Introduces its Virtual Windscreen Concept

Seemingly plucked right out of video games, Jaguar has debuted its Virtual Windscreen display concept. An augmented reality display of sorts, the Virtual Windscreen projects information right onto the windscreen to help drivers and racers reach their full potential. In addition to the usual speed and gear displays, the system also projects the optimal racing line to take, including when to accelerate and brake. The concept also projects competitor’s lap times and even includes a ghost car function, letting drivers race against their best lap times. For now, the system remains a concept but could become a reality in the next decade. Check out the video above to see the system in action and let us know what you think.
