A Closer Look at the Nike Lil Penny Posite "University Red"

After getting a first look at the Nike Lil Penny Posite “University Red” a few days ago, we now have a closer look at the shoe. Inspired by Penny Hardaway‘s short stay in Miami, the design looks towards his past and builds upon elements of the Air Zoom Rookie and Nike Air Up, as well as being a symbolic follow-up to Nike’s Air 1/2 Cent. The shoe utilizes angular red Posite panels on the majority of the upper and sits on a full-length Lunar insole and the latest Zoom cushioning in the heel. Finally, molded wings on the quarter and vintage Flight and 1 Cent logos help retain the heritage of the design. The Nike Lil Penny Posite “University Red” is priced at $180 USD and will be available at Nike as well as select stockists including Sneaker Politics on July 12.
